I am so grateful for photography. We all have our ideal medium of expression; it’s just a matter of discovering it. I can’t draw beyond stick figures (and even those aren’t terribly impressive), and my musical abilities are subpar. But photography affords me the opportunity to observe and celebrate the world around me.
Little gestures, subtle expressions, colors both rich and subdued, and textures brought to life by shadow and light – these are the details that inspire me to keep picking up my camera.
Beyond photographs, I find joy in cooking with my husband, playing with our son and watching him learn, knitting with fancy yarns, running despite not being particularly good at it, and savoring a close game of cribbage, glass of whiskey in hand. I live in Seattle, and I love it here.
Thank you for visiting my site! I hope to hear from you.
